Christmas Recap

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year all!

We traveled back and forth to the good ol' U.S. of A - it was a short but mighty trip. 25hr travel time (Singapore via Hong Kong via Chicago to KC on the way there - Omaha through Denver to Tokyo to Singapore on the way back). The travel was rough, but certainly worth it. (I wanted to post cute pics of us throughout each leg of journey, but the dark circles and airplane lighting were just too tragic to share)

Our trip started out in snowy KC and ended with 55 degree weather in Omaha.

To sum it up: lots of great food, family and friends. Throw in 4 frantic wedding planning appointments, 3 glorious and generous wedding showers (THANK YOU to all our wonderful hostesses and guests), 2 heart melting twins and 1 super model dog and you have a perfect week home for the holidays.

Love and miss you all beyond words!

What do you do the morning after severe jet lag and breathing airplane air for the past day? Sub zero walk to the gas station for doughnuts, naturally.

Michael got a fancy new guitar for his birthday, but really this pic is to capture how cute Jack is.

Back to back showers - I seriously have the best friends. I should move across the world more often :)

My NYC bestie - I miss you :(

Go Chiefs!

See you all again in JUNE!

Cheers to a happy, healthy and hopefully a little less eventful 2014 ;)

PS - if you are wondering how we celebrated. We went to work, came home and ordered from our favorite Indian food place, opened a bottle of champagne we barely drank, and were in bed dead asleep by 10:00pm (maybe even before). 14hr time change jetlag is NO joke {see here for a hilarious and very accurate description}. We did however wake up to the sound of fireworks at midnight.

Xo.
